Date:
Fort Meade's Independence Day Celebration takes place on July 4th, rain or shine. In the event of extreme inclement weather, the fireworks only will take place on July 5th at the same scheduled time (9:30pm).

Fort Meade Parade Field
Time:
Event starts at Noon and runs until the conclusion of the fireworks; fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
Rides:
Childrens' inflatable rides offer opportunities for the kids to enjoy the day. Tickets are not required; attendance is open at all.

Food vendors will be on-site beginning at Noon.
Fireworks:
The pyrotechnic show begins at 9:30pm. Bring blankets, chairs, seating, etc.Note: Any devices required requiring stakes are prohibited.

Parking will be marked near Parade Field.

Opportunities still available for military unit fundraising.
- Games: Games supplied by FMWR need units to operate them. The unit would need to staff and provide prizes, but all revenue generated would be earned and kept to the respective unit.
- Unit Cleanup:FMWR needs assistance with cleanup efforts both on July 4th as well as July 5th. FMWR will deposit the amount into the unit fund.
